Astralis and GODSENT qualified for the IEM Katowice 2022. The teams earned enough points in the ESL Pro Tour table to qualify for the championship.
The Brazilian team will begin their journey in Katowice from the Play-In stage, where they will join other participants of the stage, including Virtus.pro, Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pajamas, Renegades and TYLOO. At the same time, Astralis has a chance to get into the main stage of IEM Katowice 2022. For this, the team needs to successfully perform at IEM Winter 2021.
As a reminder, earlier tickets to IEM Katowice 2022 went to Gambit, NAVI, G2, Heroic, FURIA, Liquid, Virtus.pro, Vitality, Ninjas in Pajamas, Renegades, TYLOO and Wisla Krakow. The remaining ten places will be taken by the teams with the most points in the ESL Pro Tour table.
IEM Katowice 2022 will take place from 14 to 27 February in Poland. 24 teams from all over the world will compete for a prize pool of $ 1,000,000. It is planned that the Play-In stage and the group stage will be held in a studio format, while the 11,000th Spodek Arena will host the playoffs of the championship.
