THREAT announced its transition to the post of technical director of NIP after the conclusion of IEM Winter 2021. The 33-year-old Swedish specialist has revealed this on his Twitter.

IEM Winter 2021 is my last event as head coach as I will move on as CTO for all of our CS efforts. While I love being on stage with the guys, I love even more to really dive into tactical issues and see my plans unfold on the server.

Me and mahone will continue to work day and night to develop a game plan, while the new head coach will keep the guys focused on the game and make sure we stick to the plan when it matters most.

IEM Winter 2021 will take place from December 2 to December 12 in Stockholm. Sixteen teams will compete for a prize pool of $ 250,000. In the first match of the tournament, NIP will play against Astralis.
