NAVI advances to the grand final of PGL Major Stockholm 2021

The NAVI team defeats Gambit with a score of 2: 0 and reaches the grand final of PGL Major Stockholm 2021. Now the team will have to face the G2 team, which in its semifinals turned out to be stronger than Heroic with a score of 2: 1.

The semi-final meeting between NAVI and Gambit started on the Overpass map. Everything was decided on the Mirage map, where the NAVI team had the advantage from the very beginning. At the same time, Gambit practically did not succeed in the attack, which led to a disappointing 3:12 score. The side switching was clearly not in favor of Gambit, since “The Born to Win, taking the pistol round, finally crushed the opponent and secured a place in the grand final of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 - 16: 3.

After this defeat, Gambit took 3-4 place at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, earning $ 140,000, as well as 1,100 ESL Pro Tour points and 1,250 BLAST Premier points.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021 runs from October 26 to November 7 in Sweden. 24 teams are competing for a prize pool of $ 2,000,000, as well as BLAST Premier and ESL Pro Tour points. The championship playoffs will take place at the Avicii Arena with spectators, while the early stages of the championship take place in a studio format.
