The first quarterfinal of the game day started on the Inferno map, which, as expected, became the choice of the Brazilian team. But one unsuccessful round allowed FURIA to regain self-confidence, and at the same time make it to overtime. And yet Gambit was adamant, taking the opponent's peak at 19:17.
Then the teams got to the Overpass map. At the same time, the teams showed several series of won rounds, which allowed Gambit to get a minimal advantage over the side switching. The second half began with the advantage of the Brazilian team, which responded with a good force-round and took over the economy. Nevertheless, Gambit managed to turn on in order to put the squeeze on the opponent and reach the semi-finals of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 - 16:10.
