The Virtus.pro team won their first victory in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021, beating Movistar Riders in the 1/8 finals with a score of 2: 0. In the quarterfinals of the tournament, the team will face the winner of the Liquid - 9z match.

The fight began on the Vertigo map, which became the choice of the Spanish team. However, already in the first half, Virtus.pro managed to seize the initiative, gaining a two-fold advantage over the opponent. Nevertheless, in defense, Movistar Riders was able to fight, at some point having the opportunity to reduce the case to overtime. But Virtus.pro showed enough persistence to close the opponent's pick with a score of 16:14.

Then we looked behind the Mirage map, where Virtus.pro quickly seized the initiative again, ending the half with the same score - 10: 5. However, this time the Spanish team failed to compete, very quickly giving the victory to the opponent's hands - 16: 8.

Note that after this defeat Movistar Riders left BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021, taking 9-16 place.

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021 runs from October 12-17 online. Sixteen teams are competing for a prize pool of $ 162,500, BLAST Premier points, and two main prizes - tickets to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021.
