Copenhagen Flames and Fiend Advance to Elisa Invitational Fall 2021 Quarterfinals
/Copenhagen Flames and Fiend advanced to the Elisa Invitational Fall 2021 quarterfinals, beating Finest and SKADE, respectively. Now the teams will have to face fnatic and BIG in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Copenhagen Flames - Finest
The first match of the day started on the map Inferno, which became the choice of the European team. And if the first half was held in equal conditions, then after the change of sides, Finest began to put pressure on the Danes, having issued an easy victory on its own peak - 16: 9.
However, on Ancient the situation changed as expected, since Copenhagen Flames already had the initiative, gradually running ahead. As a result, the Danish team, showing a confident attack, seasoning this action with strong defense, managed to equalize the score in the series and go to the striker - 16:11.
In the end, everything was decided on the Overpass map, on which the teams showed an equal game. And yet the Danes were a little more determined to win, thereby closing Finest in the very ending - 16:14.
SKADE - Fiend
The Bulgarian derby started on Inferno, which became Fiend's choice. And after the first half it became clear that SKADE would not be able to win here. And if the changeover was good for SKADE, then thanks to the great advantage gained in the attack, Fiend left the map with a victory - 16:11.
The situation on Ancient changed dramatically again, since SKADE already had the initiative. At the same time, FIend's attack did not work out, which allowed SKADE to easily take its own choice - 16: 9.
Everything was decided again on the Overpass map, where SKADE looked absolutely sorted out. And if Fiend openly pressed, SKADE played worse and worse with each round. As a result, the more experienced Bulgarian team scored an easy defeat over the rival, and at the same time reached the quarterfinals of the tournament - 16: 3.
