The MongolZ defeated Vitality 2-0 in the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 Finals semi-final, securing their place in the grand final. The series ended with 13-7 on Mirage and 13-11 on Inferno. Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold led the way with a 1.44 rating and 103.6 ADR, earning MVP honors. Vitality are eliminated from the tournament, while The MongolZ move on to face Spirit in the final.
This could have been a solid comeback if Vitality had won. Mongolz did well on their peak and outscored Vitality 10-2 on Inferno, then the yellow team managed to get back on defense at 11-11, but caught one bad timing in the clutch, one false exit into the smoke, and lost.
Map 1 – Mirage (13:7 The MongolZ)
The MongolZ picked Mirage and started strong. The first half ended even at 6-6, but after switching sides, The MongolZ locked down defense with a 7-1 run. Highlights included ropz’s early 1v2 clutch for Vitality, but Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch stole the show with a decisive 1v2 clutch and a full ace in Round 17. Senzu topped the scoreboard with consistent entry impact.
Map 2 – Inferno (13:11 The MongolZ)
Vitality’s pick of Inferno began one-sided, with The MongolZ storming to a 10-2 halftime lead on the T side. Vitality fought back with a strong CT hold, fueled by ZywOo and ropz, narrowing the gap to 11-13. However, a standout round from 910, who delivered four AWP kills on B defense, secured the win. Senzu again delivered high impact, finishing as the map’s highest fragger.
Tournament implications
With this victory, The MongolZ advance to the grand final where they will meet Team Spirit, who eliminated MOUZ 2-0 in the other semi-final. Vitality exit the tournament in 3rd-4th place alongside MOUZ.
