3677The Renegades team became the IEM Fall 2021 Oceania champion. In the grand final of the tournament, the Australian team proved to be stronger than LookingForOrg with a score of 3: 0, thereby strengthening their already huge advantage in the regional standings.
The final match began with a one-map advantage of Renegades, as in the final of the upper bracket the team dealt with LookingForOrg (2: 0). The main part of the series started on Overpass, where there was a fierce battle. And if after the first half it might have seemed that this match would be an easy walk for the favorite, after the side switching LookingForOrg got close to Renegades. But the leader of the Australian scene showed perseverance, having managed to win the opponent's peak - 16:14.
After that, LookingForOrg finally gave up, since there was practically no team on Mirage. At the same time, Renegades invariably took advantage of her chance, turning the intermediate advantage into a victory - 16: 7.
IEM Fall 2021 Oceania took place from September 29 to October 3 online. Four Australian teams competed for a $ 10,000 prize pool as well as precious RMR points.
