Liquid defeated Evil Geniuses with a score of 2: 0 in the lower bracket of the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021 group stage. Now the North American team will play with Astralis for a place in BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021.

The fight began on Mirage, which became the Evil Geniuses' choice. However, already in the first half, the “hosts” swam, letting go of their opponent far. Liquid players did not hesitate to take advantage of such a gift, who not only confidently closed the first half, but also recorded the defeat at the opponent's peak - 16: 6.

Things were even worse for Evil Geniuses at Vertigo, as the team was on fire with a score of 3:12 before the changeover. And even though the “Evil Geniuses” were still clinging to the rounds in the second half, the starting advantage allowed Liquid to earn an easy victory on their choice - 16: 7.

After this defeat, Evil Geniuses finished last in Group A, going to BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021. In turn, the North American team will compete with Astralis for the right to qualify for BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021, and at the same time play with Vitality in the final match.
