PGL has prepared the announcement of PGL Major Stockholm 2021
The organizer of eSports tournaments PGL announced that tomorrow, September 17, they will share information about the upcoming PGL Major Stockholm 2021 in CS: GO discipline. The organizers announced this on their Twitter.
"Okay, okay. We saw your messages. We think that we will make the long-awaited announcement soon. Maybe tomorrow morning we will have something to say about one important tournament. #PGLMAJOR", - wrote the tournament operator.
Later, the organizers posted a response message with the flag of Sweden, hinting at the final venue for PGL Major 2021.
PGL Major Stockholm 2021 is scheduled to take place from October 23rd to November 7th. Initially, the tournament was planned to be held in Sweden at the Avicii Arena, but after the transfer of The International 10 in the Dota 2 discipline, which was supposed to take place in August on the same site, the venue of the CS: GO championship became a cause for serious discussions.
Note that PGL recently announced that the tournament will still be held in Stockholm, but only on condition that the Swedish authorities lift a number of coronavirus restrictions. Already in September, the country's authorities eased the restrictions, adding that the complete lifting of the bans will take effect on September 29.
