LEC Summer 2025 Week 3 Schedule and Week 2 - Results

LEC Summer 2025 continues, and with each passing week, the matches are getting more exciting. Ten of the strongest teams in Europe are battling it out for the regional title. Week 2 has come to an end, delivering both thrilling games and a few surprising outcomes. With the stakes this high, teams are giving it their all to showcase their best form. Let’s take a look at what Week 3 has in store — and quickly revisit the key moments from Week 2.
Week Three: LEC Summer 2025 Schedule

The first week of the Regular Season will take place from August 16 to August 18, featuring a total of 6 matches:
Date | Match |
August 16 | MKOI vs Natus Vincere |
August 16 | Team Heretics vs SK Gaming |
August 17 | Team Vitality vs Natus Vincere |
August 17 | Fnatic vs G2 Esports |
August 18 | Karmine Corp vs Fnatic |
August 18 | G2 Esports vs Team BDS |
The Group Stage of LEC Summer 2025 runs from August 2 to 26 and follows a Single Round Robin format, with teams split into two groups of five. Each team will play four matches — facing every other opponent in their group once. All games are played in a best-of-three (Bo3) format using the Fearless Draft system. The top eight teams — four from each group — will move on to the Playoffs: the top two seeds will enter the Upper Bracket, while the teams finishing 3rd and 4th will start in the Lower Bracket.
To make the tournament format easier to follow, we’ve put together a dedicated blog — the LEC Summer 2025 Season Viewer Guide. There, I go over each stage of the competition, explain the match formats, introduce the participating teams, and cover other important details of the Summer Split.
Matches You Shouldn't Miss
One of the most intriguing matches to watch will be MKOI vs Natus Vincere. The big question is — have the Born to Win (Natus Vincere) managed to learn from their loss against Karmine Corp? Can they challenge the Spring Split champions MKOI, or are we looking at a possible 0–2 outcome? NaVi ’s roster certainly has the potential to win, but the fact that this lineup has only been playing together for about a month changes everything.
Another highlight of the week is Fnatic vs G2 Esports. Fnatic are known for their consistent performances in the group stage — something they’ve been demonstrating once again this split. On the other side, G2 Esports remain one of the strongest and most stable teams in the region. Both teams have what it takes to reach the playoffs and even make it to the finals. The real question is whether the experience G2 gained at MSI 2025 and the Esports World Cup will give them the edge — or if the well-rested Fnatic, having worked through past mistakes, are finally ready to become LEC’s representatives at Worlds 2025.
Karmine Corp vs Fnatic is also a matchup you won’t want to miss. For Fnatic, this is a perfect chance to gain valuable experience and potentially take revenge for previous splits. Karmine Corp eliminated them from the championship race twice already. In the Winter Split, they met in the Lower Bracket Final — a nail-biting 3–2 win for KC, who then went on to win the finals and qualify for the First Stand. In the Spring Split, the teams clashed in the Lower Bracket Semifinal, where KC shut Fnatic down with a dominant 3–0.
A win over KC in the group stage would give Fnatic a much-needed confidence boost. But on the flip side — this is just the group stage, where Fnatic have always performed well. If they beat KC now, only to face them again in the playoffs and lose, that group stage victory may end up meaning very little.

LEC Summer 2025 Week 2 Results

The second week of matches played out largely as expected. One of the most anticipated clashes was between the tournament favorites — Karmine Corp and MKOI. The teams went the full distance in a best-of-three series, trading maps in dominant fashion. Karmine Corp took Game 1 with a decisive 11–3 scoreline, while Movistar KOI responded in kind on Game 2, winning 15–7 with little resistance.
Game 3 was much more competitive, with both teams showing strong coordination. However, KC managed to take control in the mid-game through superior map presence and objective control. Two Baron takes played a crucial role in shifting the gold lead and limiting MKOI’s movement across the map. In the end, Karmine Corp closed out the series 2–1 and now lead their group with a perfect 3–0 record.
MKOI currently hold second place in the group after securing a 2–1 win over GIANTX earlier in the week. This loss puts GIANTX at a 1–2 record, placing them in third.
In Group B, Fnatic continue to build momentum, securing a clean 2–0 victory over Team BDS. Their upcoming opponents, G2 Esports, also looked strong this week — taking down Team Heretics 2–0 to claim second place in the group after Week 2.
Team BDS currently sit in third with a 1–1 record, having only managed to defeat SK Gaming — who remain at the bottom of the group standings and are currently the weakest team in the group.
