Yuriy SheremetSkywrath Mage is a ranged hero whose primary attribute is intelligence. This hero has strong magical abilities with which the hero can deal with both one and several opponents.
Consider this hero in position 5, since the hero has the greatest value when the opponents do not have a black king bar, that is, this is an early stage of the game and midlane. By inflicting critical damage and interfering with the enemy’s carry, with every minute and every successful action we bring our team closer to the coveted victory with the necessary rating numbers. By itself, the hero in position 5 has its advantages and disadvantages.
Description of abilities
Arcane Bolt
The first skill - Arcane Bolt - the hero releases a slow charge of magical energy at the enemy, which deals damage depending on intelligence. Damage equal to (hero's intelligence}} 1.5) is added to the base damage, for example, if you have 100 intelligence (both white and green intelligence are taken into account), 150 damage will be added. It also provides a 325 radius view around the projectile throughout the flight, which allows you to highlight the heroes who are trying to hide from you in the bushes or on a hill (хг). After hitting the target, the vision will remain for 3 seconds. The damage from the ability will be applied even if: the enemy goes into invisibility, blinks, teleports, presses smoke of deceit. Damage will not be dealt if the enemy presses the following abilities: BALL LIGHTNING (ult) - Storm Spirit, LIFE BREAK (ult) - Huskar, SUPERNOVA (ult) - Phoenix, TRICKS OF THE TRADE (3rd skill) - Riki, Mischief (3 -th skill) - Monkey King, SHIFT (3rd skill) - Puck, SLEIGHT OF FIST (2nd skill) - Ember Spirit (with proper skill, more details in the subtleties and tips), that is, all the abilities that make hero is completely invulnerable to any damage.

Concussive Shot
The second skill of our hero is Concussive Shot - Skye shoots the nearest enemy hero in a large area. On hit, deals damage to enemies in the area of effect and slows them down. Slows the movement speed of the enemy, affects the nearest enemy in the radius of the ability. Provides 400 radius vision around the projectile. After hitting the target, vision is maintained for 3 seconds. If there are no enemies, the ability will fly to the nearest creep. Deals area damage. Unlike 1 spell, it will last with blink, teleport, smoke and invisibility.
The area damage and slow affect nearby creeps and summons, dealing 90/135/180/225 damage to them.

Ancient Seal
The hero's third skill - Ancient Seal - leaves a print of an ancient rune on the selected creature, forbidding him to use abilities and increasing magic damage on him, both from Sky himself and from all his allies. Does not increase magic damage on creeps! Magic resistance reduction: 20%/25%/30%/35% without talent and 32%/37%/42%/47% with talent.

Mystic Flare
Hero's ultimate ability - Mystic Flare - The hero creates a directed field of supernatural power, crushing enemies. The field deals massive damage that is distributed evenly among Heroes in the area of effect for 2.2 seconds.

The ability is unique, I propose to study these notes of this ability:
· If there are enemy heroes (including illusions, clones, and creep-heroes) in range, only they will take damage.
· Ignores hidden, invulnerable and spell immune creatures so they don't absorb damage.
· Deals damage in 0.1 second intervals, starting 0.1 seconds after cast, resulting in 22 instances.
With Aghanim's Scepter, casting the ability automatically applies a second Mystic Flare to a random target within the search radius, but outside the 170 field radius.
· The search radius is fixed to the selected area, not Skywrath Mage.
· When choosing a second target, heroes and illusions have higher priority than other creatures. Treats creep-heroes as creeps.
· Ignores invulnerable or spell immune creatures within the search radius.
· If no suitable targets are found, the second field does not apply (but two fields can apply per hero).
Leveling abilities
A few words about leveling abilities: we swing the 1st skill at the first level, even if it has less damage than the 2nd one, but it has a small cd, which allows in the fight for runes and initial aggression.
Subsequently, we max it out and along the way we swing by one ult, the second and third skill. On the lane, by combining 1 and 2 skills, we will choke the enemy's carry. We take the third skill both for defense and for increasing damage to enemies.
Next, we study it up to level 4 on the 10th and combine 1 and 2 skills.
Items
Starting purchase: A pack of Tango, Mantle of Intelligence, Circlet and mango for the remaining money.
Laning stage (Up to 5 minutes): we bring Null Talisman and consumables (if necessary). You can save up and bring the second Null Talisman right away. Do not forget about the replenishment of resources in the form of mangoes and flasks. Take Raindrops as needed
Laning stage (Up to 10 minutes): 2 zeros, boots (lasso). We start making Rod of Atos, buying wards along the way.

Mid game stage. We can buy force staff, ghost scepter and other things for escape.

Subtleties and tips when playing for Skywrath mage
1) Skywrath mage - a hero with one of the biggest move speeds, quite a long poke range, but with a small amount of armor and HP. Position is everything.
2) The enemy has collected eul what to do? Do not give the whole proxt at once. You can give either athos and ult, after euls, silence and finish (against heroes with escapes like quopa, pak, and so on). Or give 3 2 1 to the enemy, at the end of the eul, throw an ult and throw an athos.
3) What to do against force? Your abilities give vision, if the enemy makes a force, then after the force we throw an atos and an ult (in silence it will already be before the force)
4) Silence has no time cast. Therefore, it is given instantly, like any items in DotA. If you have a quick cast, you can poke under you, or if you are catching up with the last surviving enemy, but he went into know vision, you can click on his approximate location and after blinking you will almost immediately give him silence/hex
5) Kill Link with silence and give him an instant hex. They don’t have a cast time, everything will work instantly. Against fat heroes with a link, damage is enough only with ethereal
6) So that the heroes do not finish your 1 spell with fists, do not throw it under a full pack. Then he will definitely zadodzhit it. The ideal time to cast 1 spell is if only you are in his fist radius, or at most you and 1-2 units. Then you can always hit him with 1 spell.
7) 2 ugly ults in one hero. In the lobby - the radius of the ult must be less than 50% of the radius of the hero's hitbox (if it's easier, then hit the hero with the edge of the ult)
In game realities - we poke the ult not in the center of the enemy, but on the bar of his health. Then you will give him a double ult.

The lack of control in the team can also be considered as a counter sky. At a higher rating, slots appear faster, and you will not be able to solo kill the enemy. But even an anti-mage with a manta can be killed together with any stun/hex. The absence of such heroes under the skymage will most likely end in defeat
Outcome
At first glance, this is a very simple hero, on which he pressed 2 buttons and killed. But in fact, everything is countered by objects, and only with the proper ability to play this hero, you will not be afraid of either anti-mages, or eula, or aeon disks. The main thing is to focus either the most dangerous enemies, or the one you can kill. All successful games!
