On August 17th, during the second day of the Gamers8 2023 CS:GO tournament, a series of events unfolded.
In the quarterfinal stage, NAVI squared off against the Vitality team. Unfortunately, the "Natus Vincere" team experienced a loss in this match, with a final score of 0:2 (2:16 on the Mirage map and 11:16 on the Nuke map), resulting in their elimination from the competition.
Furthermore, the final matches of the first round of playoffs also occurred on that day. "9INE" was defeated by the "G2" team with a score of 1:2, leading to their departure from the tournament. The "FaZe Clan" team faced a similar fate, succumbing to "Outsiders" with a score of 1:2.
"Vitality" successfully secured a spot in the semifinals, where they will face the winner of the "Outsiders" - "G2 Esports" match.
The Gamers8 2023 tournament is being held in Saudi Arabia from August 16th to 20th. In this intense competition, 16 teams are vying for a substantial prize pool of $1 million.
