All the heroes in patch 7.33: stupid Ogre Magi, Clinkz summoner and enhanced Arc Warden
Yuriy SheremetValve has released the long-awaited patch 7.33. In fact, they've made a new Dota 2, as we covered in this post.
Now it's time to take a look at the redesigned characters. Let me say at once: we will NOT be reprinting the huge patch note with all the changes to the basic characters (you'll find that on the official update page). What we will tell you about is the TOTAL redesign of the characters.
A total of 6 characters have been changed. About them - in order.
Revamp of Ogre Magi in patch 7.33
Ogre Magi is now the dumbest character in Dota 2. Literally.
Ogre Magi's basic attribute in patch 7.33 is the Force. But this isn't the end of the changes.
- Basic attribute changed to Strength.
- Strength gain increased from 3.3 to 4.2.
- Base The International Ellect has been decreased from 15 to 0.
- The International Elasticity increment decreased from 2.5 to 0.
- Base mana increased from 75 to 120.
- Base damage reduced from 54-60 to 44-50.
In addition to the basic characterization changes, Ogre Magi has a new passive ability. Eloquently titled Dumb Luck, it grants Ogre Magi a passive mana boost and mana regeneration (6 mana and 0.03 mana regeneration per power point). Additionally, the passive ability gives +1% to a Multicast trigger for every 20 Force points. Additionally, the duration of Fireblast and Unrefined Fireblast is reduced by 0.3 seconds.
Clinkz Revamp
Another radically redesigned character is Clinkz. Seems like there's no more fiery skeleton with Gleipnir at his side.
Strafe [Q].
New base ability.
Clinkz and his 1200 AoE flaming skeleton archers gain bonus attack speed and range.
- The attack speed bonus is 100/140/180/220 for Clinkz and 50% for skeletons.
- The attack range bonus is +200 for Clinkz and Skeletons.
- duration: 3.5 seconds.
- Reload: 30/25/20/15 с.
- Manacost: 75/80/85/90.
Using Strafe does not remove invisibility from Skeleton Walk.
Tar Bomb [W].
New base ability.
Clinkz casts a projectile that deals 40/60/80/100 magic damage on impact, commanding Clinkz and all skeleton archers in range to attack the target. An area of 275 radius around the target is also tarred for 5 seconds. Any enemy walking on the resin is slowed by 16/19/22/25% and takes an additional 15/25/35/45 physical damage from all attacks by Clinkz or his skeleton archers. The effect lasts for 2.5 seconds after leaving the area. Affects buildings. Range: 1000. Reload Time: 7/6/5/4 с. Manacost: 40/45/50/55.
Death Pact [E].
Now basic ability.
Now has 1/1/2/2 charge and 40 seconds recharge time.
Now creates a Blazing Archer Skeleton in a creep that is killed (only one skeleton from this ability may exist at a time).
- Number of hits to kill a skeleton: 3.
- Skeleton Damage: 20%.
- Skeletons deal 25% less damage to buildings.
- Healing and additional health is now 125/200/275/350.
- Mana cost has been reduced from 100 to 60.
- Maximum level of a creep is now 4/5/6/6.
Skeleton Walk
Increased ultimacy.
- Time duration increased from 25/30/35/40 to 35/40/45s.
- Movement speed bonus increased from 15/30/45/60% to 30/45/60%.
- Mana cost increased from 80 to 80/105/130.
- Reload rate increased from 20/19/18/17 to 18s.
- Can now cast 2/3/4 flaming skeleton archers (only one group of skeletons can exist at a time from this ability)
- Burning Barrage.
- Now granted with Aghanim's Shard. Also bathes enemies with Tar Bomb slowdown. Reload time: 22 с. Range: 850. Damage per Arrow: 65%.

- Level 25 Talent Searing Arrows Multishot replaced with Tar Bomb Multishot (Each time Clinkz attacks an enemy covered in tar, he will also attack a random enemy within his attack range)
Arc Warden Patch 7.33
One of the most obscure redesigns was the Arc Warden redesign. The character now has different abilities when playing as a certain side, and the ultimatum skill seems to have been greatly improved.
All Tempest Double abilities have been replaced by "Tempest" versions of Arc Warden abilities. When playing on the Dark side, Arc Warden will default to Tempest abilities and his Tempest Double will default to normal abilities.
- Patch 7.32e is out in Dota 2 - Meet Muerta, a new minigame and an update to the Dota settings (4677)
- Item changes in patch 7.33: more new items, fewer old items (2662)
- All the major changes in patch 7.33: New objects on the map, new hero attribute, changes to the MMR system and all the major innovations (4381)
- Patch 7.32e: basic character changes (2288)
This condition is temporary and will disappear once Arc Warden adapts to the new paradigm.
Flux
Tempest version provides more damage (15/30/45/60 to 20/45/70/95), but a smaller penalty to enemy movement speed (14/21/28/35% to 6/10/14/18%).
Magnetic Field patch 7.33
The Tempest version provides +150 to attack range (ranged heroes only), adds 20/40/60/80 magic damage to allied attacks from the field, and has an extended duration of 5/6/7/8s.
Spark Wraith
The Tempest version has a shorter activation delay (2s - 1s), faster movement speed (400 - 725), longer slow duration (0.4/0.5/0.6/0.7 - 0.6/0.8/1.0/1.2), but takes less damage (100/180/260/340 - 75/135/195/255)
Tempest Double
Recovery time decreased from 60/50/40s to 56/48/40s.

- Talent level 25: 40% reduction in Tempest Double cooldown replaced with "No Penalty to Damage" for Tempest Double
Medusa Revamp in Patch 7.33
While Ogre Magi is now the dumbest character in Dota 2, Medusa is now the weakest. She's been stripped of her power but her Mana Shield has been beefed up.
- Base power decreased from 17 to 0.
- Strength gain decreased from 1.5 to 0.
- Intelligence gain increased from 3.4 to 3.7.
Mystic Snake
Manacost from 140 to 80/100/120/140.
Base duration of Scepter Stone decreased from 1.3s to 1.0s.
Mana Shield.
Now a passive ability. Medusa starts at first level of Mana Shield and can be upgraded to 5th level. Creates a shield that absorbs 98% of incoming damage in exchange for mana. Increases base mana.
- Mana bonus: 200/225/250/275/300.
- Damage per mana: 2/2.3/2.6/2.9/3.2.
Stone Gaze
Time duration for stone form reduced from 3s to 2.4s.
- 10th level Talent: +0.5 mana shield damage per mana unit replaced by +5% physical damage from Stone Gaze
- Talent level 25: +75 to Intelligence, replacing +1.3 to Shield of Mana damage per mana
Muerta Upgrade
Muerta has now appeared in Captains Mode. Also, an assassin with a meager arsenal has more strenght.
Dead Shot.
The duration of ricochet dread has been decreased from 1/1.2/1.4/1.6s to 0.8/0.95/1.1/1.25s.
The Calling
Silence duration decreased from 2/2.5/3/3.5 to 1.5/2/2.5/3s.
Duration decreased from 10 to 7/8/9/10s.
Pierce the Veil
Upgraded with Aghanim Shard.
Gives 30% vampirism to all spells while Pierce the Veil is active. Muerta permanently gains 2% spell bonus each time she kills an enemy hero during Pierce Veil or any enemy hero within 925.
Parting Shot.
New ability, added with Aghanim's Scepter.
Muerta shoots an allied or enemy hero into his soul, separating him from his physical body for 4 seconds. The soul is pushed back by 150 on separation, rendering the stunned, stunned, disarmed, and invulnerable.
The body is stunned for the duration and takes a 50% damage reduction. After this effect, the soul is forcibly returned to the body, which applies a strong dissipation that removes negative debuffs and stuns. The soul survives until the end of the effect, even if the body dies. Does not deal damage to allies, and Muerta cannot target himself.
- Damage: 300.
- Mana cost: 250.
- Reload: 45 с.
Talent
- Level 10 Talent: Dead Shot damage reduced from +100 to +80.
Alchemist Revamp in Patch 7.33

- Mana cost decreased from 130 to 120.

- Bounty Rune multiplier increased from 1.8/2.2/2.6/3 to 2.
Corrosive Weaponry
New base passive ability
Attacks impose a stackable debuff on enemies, decreasing movement speed by 3/4/5/6% and Resistance to effects by 3/4/5/6% per stack. Applying a new stack updates the duration. Does not affect buildings or Roshan.
- Max Stack: 5/7/9/11.
