All Fortnite Passes – Battle Pass, OG Pass, Music Pass, Lego Pass – in Chapter 6 Season 1

I never tire of writing about Fortnite because it always outdoes itself. Want more parkour? Here you go, wall climbing and wall jumping. Craving a first-person view? Here's a 5v5 first-person shooter mode that feels refreshingly familiar.

The introduction of new modes has significantly expanded gameplay possibilities. Even the Battle Pass system has changed – there are now four separate passes, each offering unique rewards.

Below, I’ve provided a detailed review of each pass, highlighting what you can earn for free simply by playing and gaining in-game experience points.

What is a Battle Pass?

Multimode gameplay is likely at its peak right now, as the game offers modes for nearly every genre – racing, role-playing, survival, building, and the classic Fortnite experience. Plus, the much-loved OG Fortnite, the original Chapter 1 that veterans have been longing for, is back. All these modes are available to play completely free, with no passes required.

Purchasing a pass unlocks an expanded set of rewards for the season. Currently, we’re in Chapter 6, Season 1. The previous six chapters each had five seasons, each with its own Battle Pass filled with unique rewards. A typical season lasts about 2.3 months, except for Fortnite Remix, which is a shorter version of a season. Rewards included in the Battle Pass are usually exclusive and cannot be purchased from the Fortnite store, making them available only during the season. Once earned, they remain yours forever.

Fortnite Battle Pass Price

The base Battle Pass costs 1,000 V-Bucks, granting access to all seasonal rewards and bonus rewards through level progression – 1,000 V-Bucks valuable 10 USD.

The Battle Pass Bundle, priced at 2,800 V-Bucks, allows players to instantly claim a portion of seasonal rewards while unlocking the rest, including bonus rewards, by leveling up. With the Bundle, players automatically receive 25 levels at the start of a season, making it easier and faster to complete the Battle Pass. This feature became highly popular, especially during Chapter 1, when leveling up was notably challenging. 2,800 V-Bucks valuable 25 USD.

Currently, there are four different Battle Passes available, each with its pricing. For instance, the Music Pass costs 1,400 V-Bucks. Let’s take a closer look at each Battle Pass and what they offer.

Free Rewards in Fortnite Battle Pass

Before diving into each Battle Pass page, let me explain how to identify free rewards. Read carefully and remember this for good!

Each Battle Pass includes between 12 and 29 free rewards, depending on the total number of rewards in that pass. Rewards are organized across multiple pages, with each page containing between six and fourteen items, depending on the type of pass.

On the bottom selection panel, free rewards are distinguished by a white background, making them stand out from premium ones. To earn these free rewards, you don’t need to purchase the pass – simply play the game and complete quests to unlock them. In other words, premium rewards are shaded and feature a lock icon in the top-left corner.

Battle Pass Chapter 6 Season 1

The standard Fortnite Battle Pass, priced at 1,000 V-Bucks, gives you access to 14 pages of Battle Pass rewards, 8 pages of Bonus rewards, and 2 pages of Godzilla-themed rewards. Complete quests, earn in-game experience points and claim these rewards for yourself.

Among the rewards, 20% can be obtained without the Battle Pass, meaning they are available for free. We’ve dedicated an entire article to the Battle Pass rewards, where you can explore all the details and get to know about rest free rewards. Among all rewards are the Nyanja skin – a cat in a hoodie with a chest bag; Jade – a girl in a school jacket with a samurai helmet; and The Night Rose – a sinister Japanese demon with horns.

Battle Pass Bonus Rewards

There are no free rewards among the bonus rewards; all of them are available only to Battle Pass owners of Season 1 of Chapter 6. The golden parkour cat skin, known as Lucky Nyanja, is a vibrant skin that truly deserves to be among the premium rewards, and that's just the first page.

The bonus rewards feature many bright versions of original skins from the Battle Pass reward list. On the last three pages, each reward is a skin, with five neon blue, red-black, and holographic green-purple skins.

Fortnite Godzilla Rewards

The addition of Godzilla as a skin in Fortnite is part of a larger event themed around the giant monster, which is set to take place soon. Based on the season trailer, it looks like a giant will invade the island, and knowing Epic Games, we can expect not just one monster, but at least two, who will clash in a battle while players fight each other as well.

The Godzilla rewards consist of two pages, each with six rewards. The skin and other rewards will become available starting January 17, and for now, all the rewards are hidden behind a question mark.

As expected, there are no free rewards in Godzilla pages, but you will find them in the next three passes.

Fortnite OG Pass

The classic first chapter – just like the good old days that a large portion of the community missed, having joined the game in later chapters.

The OG Battle Pass is available within the Fortnite OG mode, meaning if you play the classic Fortnite Chapter 1, you can earn unique rewards from that era by purchasing the pass.

The price of the OG Fortnite Battle Pass is 1,000 V-Bucks. Once you purchase the pass, you unlock six pages of unique rewards from classic Fortnite. To earn these rewards, complete OG Fortnite quests and gain in-game experience, with rewards gradually unlocking as you progress.

Among the OG rewards, you can find skins like Skull Commander, Aerial Assault Bomber, and Renegade Rebel. The rest of the rewards, just like in the standard Battle Pass, include items of all types, such as emotes and loading screens.

Fortnite Music Pass

The Fortnite Music Pass includes rewards focused on the Fortnite Festival mode, such as guitars, basses, microphones, and drums. However, there are also items like Wraps that can be used in other game modes, as well as Jam Tracks that can be played in the lobby.

The Fortnite Music Pass costs 1,400 V-Bucks, which is 400 V-Bucks more than the standard Battle Pass. The list of 22 Music Pass rewards unlocks gradually through in-game experience. There are two tracks: the top one contains 11 free items, while the bottom track features 11 premium rewards for players who purchased the pass.

There’s a lot of great music, like Soldier Boy’s "Crank That," which instantly reminds me of the video where he shows off his Xbox 360 setup with a pink controller. What is the Fortnite Festival?

Released in December 2023, Fortnite Festival is a rhythm game developed by Harmonix and published by Epic Games, as part of the Fortnite launcher. Players perform songs, choosing from four instruments and varying difficulty levels, with layouts changing accordingly. The game offers a daily free song selection and the option to buy tracks from the Fortnite item shop, featuring both original compositions and songs by popular artists.

Despite mixed reviews, citing similarities to other rhythm games and high song prices, updates have introduced in-game seasons themed around specific artists, guitar controller support, and a player-versus-player mode.

LEGO Pass

The Fortnite LEGO Pass costs 1,400 V-Bucks and includes four pages of rewards that can be used in the LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and LEGO Fortnite Brick Life modes. Both modes are fully styled in LEGO and give players the freedom to create in an open world.

In the first mode, LEGO Fortnite Odyssey players explore different environments, from the peaceful Dry Valley to the snowy Frostlands and the magical Lost Isles. They build creative structures and estates while searching for village residents, taming animals, and playing with friends.

And the second mode, LEGO Fortnite Brick Life is a fun new multiplayer adventure where you get to live out all sorts of roles in a city full of players. You could be a barista at a cat café, the life of the party at the club, or take a drive along the sunny coast. Plus, you can earn money to customize your own home however you like!

Although these passes are for different modes, they can be easily accessed through the side menu, allowing you to play these modes simply by launching Fortnite.
