All DOOM: Dark Ages Wraithstones Location and Where to Find Them

Wraithstones play a crucial role in the new installment, Doom The Dark Ages — they are the key to upgrading your weapons to the maximum level. Without these rare artifacts, it's impossible to unlock the full combat potential of the Slayer’s arsenal. However, obtaining them isn’t easy: most Wraithstones are hidden in secret locations and require solving puzzles or fulfilling specific conditions. Their number is limited, so missing even one means losing the chance to fully upgrade all your weapons.
Wraithstone: Why It's Important
Upgrading weapons isn’t as simple as it might sound — it’s not just about adding a bit of extra damage or increasing ammo capacity. In Doom The Dark Ages, weapon upgrades unlock powerful additional effects that make battles against tougher demons much more manageable in the later chapters. Some weapons even change drastically after their final upgrade, opening up new tactical possibilities and allowing you to combine abilities more effectively. That’s why Wraithstones aren’t just collectibles — they’re essential for anyone aiming to complete the game 100%.
In this blog, I’ve carefully outlined the location of every Wraithstone so you won’t miss a single one.
Wraithstone Location in Ancestral Forge (Chapter 9)
Alright, let’s start from the very beginning. The first Wraithstone in Doom The Dark Ages can be found in Chapter 9 of the campaign — Ancestral Forge. To access it, you’ll need to solve the Wolf Statue puzzle: all wolf statues in the area must be found and activated. Once that’s done, you can return to the Wraithstone’s location and collect it. The exact spot is marked on the map.

How to Get the Wraithstone in The Forsaken Plains (Chapter 10)
The Wraithstone in The Forsaken Plains is relatively easy to obtain. Just follow the main storyline until you reach the designated area marked on the map. Once you clear out all the enemies in that zone, the Wraithstone will become available. Keep in mind that this area is locked until a specific point in the story, so there’s no need to waste time trying to get through the blocked flesh door ahead of time.

Wraithstone Location in Sentinel Command Station (Chapter 12)
The next Wraithstone can be found in Chapter 12 of the campaign — Sentinel Command Station. Just like before, there’s only one Wraithstone in this area, but getting it requires a bit more effort. First, you’ll need to find the secret key hidden somewhere within the station. Once you have it, head to the location marked on the map — there you’ll find a hidden door. Open it, defeat the enemies inside, and you’ll be able to claim the Wraithstone.

City of Ry’uul Wraithstone Guide – Chapter 15
The sixth Wraithstone is located in the City of Ry’uul, and fortunately, it’s one of the easiest to obtain. All you need to do is follow the main story quest. As you progress, you’ll naturally reach the right area where the Wraithstone is waiting — no extra steps or hidden challenges required.

Chapter 16 Wraithstone Location – Kar’Thul Marshes
The Wraithstone in Kar’Thul Marshes is relatively easy to find, but it’s also tied to a Wolf Statue puzzle. You’ll need to locate and activate all the wolf statues scattered throughout this chapter. Once they’re all activated, head back to the spot marked on the map to collect the Wraithstone.

How to Find the Wraithstone in Temple of Lomarith (Chapter 17)
The Wraithstone in Temple of Lomarith is considered one of the most difficult to obtain, as it involves shifting into an alternate dimension. First, make your way to the location marked on the map and look for a breakable wall. Once you destroy it, you’ll be transported into a different reality. Swim through to the next section, where a group of Hell Knights will ambush you in a narrow corridor. Defeat them all, and you’ll automatically be sent back — this time appearing right in front of the Wraithstone.назад — прямо к месту, где находится Wraithstone.

How to Get the Wraithstone in Resurrection (Chapter 20)
The Wraithstone in Chapter 20, Resurrection, is also hidden behind a Wolf Statue puzzle. To unlock access to it, you’ll need to find and destroy four wolf statues scattered throughout the area. Once all of them are broken, head to the location marked on the map — that’s where the Wraithstone will appear.

Wraithstone in Chapter 22 – Reckoning: Where to Find It
The final Wraithstone in Doom The Dark Ages awaits you in the last chapter — Reckoning. Reaching it won’t be easy, as it’s hidden behind a secret door. First, you’ll need to locate a hidden key somewhere within the area. Once you have it, return to the spot marked on the map, unlock the door, and claim the last Wraithstone.

The Challenge of Finding Wraithstones
These are all the Wraithstone locations in Doom The Dark Ages. Collecting them all will allow you to fully upgrade the Slayer’s entire arsenal. If you haven’t unlocked most of the weapons yet or haven’t had a chance to try them out, I recommend checking out the blog DOOM Dark Ages: All Available Weapons In Game. There, we’ve covered all the weapons currently available in detail — and it might just change the way you approach your gameplay.
As you may have noticed, most Wraithstones in Doom The Dark Ages aren’t that hard to obtain. But because of the fast-paced gameplay and so many variables happening at once, we often miss or overlook important elements that could make the journey much easier down the line. I hope this guide was helpful and easy to follow — and I wish you an awesome time slaying demons.
