Basic techniques for the defence of A plaint on Mirage
Yuriy SheremetMirage is one of the most favourite and popular maps in the current map roll. The map has not undergone any major changes. In the last major update of maps skyboxes were removed, which increased the possibilities of grenade throwing.
There is a huge number of different tactics on Mirage, and teams are still coming up with new ones. Today we will consider only the most trivial things on A Plenty, without which it will be very difficult to play.
Jumpthrow
For some grenades we need a binned jumpthrow. It is not difficult to do it.
Jumpthrow is a key combination that helps to throw grenades of any complexity, while maintaining stability and speed. Unlike the usual jump grenade throwing, with Jumpthrow in x go your grenade will always have the same trajectory and almost hundred per cent probability of hitting your grenade.

Ticket
When playing this position, we primarily look at the position of the pit. Terrorists will often check this position with a prefacer when exiting, so you should stand slightly sheltered behind the box.
You can also just jump to see the attack coming out and let your team know about it. At the same time, you should not stand on your position to the end, it is better to throw back grenades, and, if possible, go deeper into the kt to prevent the opponents from taking this key position. In the case of giving away the ct, the terrorists have too much space, which reduces the probability of a successful retake by many times.
Next you need to know the grenades that are thrown from this position, there are not many of them.

1. Molotov into the pit.
Aim the sight at the desired point and throw the grenade on the move. It is placed exactly at the exit from the pit. Further you can throw there a fragmentation grenade.
2. Smoke in the pit
Two very simple smokes that can be thrown from the pit to prevent the attack from going quickly into the pit.
We stand in the corner and simply aim for the left bashnea
Do the same with the second smock, throwing it from a standing position.
Shadow position
Playing on this position we are required to throw grenades in time, which will delay the exit of the attack, especially from the carpets. It often happens that terrorists simply forget to look under the Palace, and then you can close the exit to the A plat in solo.
Hover in this area and press jumpthrow, the grenade will blind the enemies coming out of the pit or give teammates the opportunity to sweep the positions.
Option without using jumpthrow
"Sandwich", "Between"
Usually in this stance, we stand until the attack starts to enter the pit to catch them by surprise. If we reveal ourselves, it will be almost impossible for us to get out. Nothing tricky here, you just need to know how to throw an elementary flash, under which you can pick the exit from the pit.
Other positions and tips
On late timings, you can take not the most expected positions that are not immediately noticed when exiting. For example, a crate near the pit or around the corner in the plente.
- In order for an attacking player coming off the mats to see us, he will need to practically come out completely.
- The A's should always take cross positions from which it is easier to take the exit
- When taking the attack, there needs to be a cohesion of teamwork so as not to obstruct or cluster at one point. Early timings are discarded fumes on the pit and mat exit, as the fast exit on A is a fairly easy round that is often used in games.
