By selling special in-game skins created in honor of the tournament, Riot Games increased the prize pool of the VALORANT Champions 2023 tournament by $20 million.

The funds collected will be evenly distributed among the participating teams. The studio developer will divide this amount among all the participants. However, only half of the total revenue from sales will be allocated to the teams.

In the current year of 2023, $4 million more was raised than in the previous year. In 2021, the amount distributed among the teams was only $7.5 million.
