VALORANT Champions 2022 runs from August 31 to September 18. 16 of the world's best teams will gather in Istanbul to share the $1,000,000 big. The teams will compete for the main reward of $300,000. The silver and bronze medalists will earn $150,000 and $110,000 respectively.
In this tournament, you will be able to see such participants as EDward Gaming, Team Liquid, OpTic Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, KRU Esports, DRX, FURIA Esports, Fnatic, 100 Thieves and others in action.
In the first matches, Paper Rex and EDward Gaming will play against each other, as well as Leviatan and Team Liquid in Group A.
The tournament starts from the group stage, in which the teams will play according to the double-elimination system. Two participants from each quartet will advance to the playoffs. In the final stage, the best eight will have the right to make a mistake, since the grid has a double-elimination format. All matches except for the grand final will be held in a series of up to two victories. The decisive match will be held in Bo5 format.
