Team Liquid became the champion of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier has come to an end. As part of the competition, which was held online from August 7 to 14, eight teams from Europe, the CIS and Turkey are fighting for a total prize pool of €50,000, as well as one ticket to VALORANT Champions 2022. Team Liquid became the winner of the championship, which in the grand final turned out to be stronger than M3 Champions with a score of 3:1 (Bind - 8:13; Icebox - 13:11; Ascent - 13:6; Breeze - 13:8).

The tournament for the European team started with confident victories over BBL Esports (2:0) and Natus Vincere (2:0). after which "liquid" lost to M3 Champions (1:2) in the final of the upper bracket and went to the lower part of the event.

Here, Team Liquid managed to defeat G2 Esports (2:1) to get to the grand final. In the decisive match of the championship, the team started with an unfortunate performance on the Bind map (8:13). However, later eMIL wards managed to wake up, closing three cards in a row in their favor (Icebox - 13:11; Ascent - 13:6; Breeze - 13:8).

VALORANT Champions 2022 will take place September 2-18 in Istanbul. Sixteen teams from all over the world will take part in the tournament. Note that additional qualifying championships will take place in August for the regions: EMEA, North America, Brazil + Latin America, Korea + Japan, South Asia + Oceania.
