The Valorant Regional Leagues 2022 Finals has ended, where participants from various regions of Europe and the Middle East competed. From July 28th to August 5th, we watched many interesting and exciting matches together with you. Now talk about the last one.

Representatives of France Team Vitality in the final match faced Turkish players from FUT Esports, and there was something to see. After 5 intense maps, we saw the champion, but who became him, we will tell below.

Card selection

  • Team Vitality chose Breeze, Ascent.
  • FUT Esports have chosen Bind, Icebox.
  • Fracture, Haven banned, Split remained.

The first skirmish took place on Breeze and here the “Bees” fully justified their choice. The Turkish players took the pistol and the next round, to which the Frenchman immediately responded. The first half of the map was held in a tense struggle, and ended with a score of 6-6. After the side switching, Vitality began total domination, taking the pistol round, they began to completely pinch the opponents, rarely losing even two players. In the end, the hosts of the map did not lose another round, and ended the match with a score of 13-6. On the first map, ceNder performed best on Chamber, finishing the match with KD 24-12.

After that, the teams moved to Bind, where FUT got off to a great start, taking the pistol round and the next two rounds. In turn, the French were not going to fall behind, and again the first half of the map ended 6-6. After the change of sides, a more exciting game began, the representatives of Turkey initially took the lead, taking 4 rounds in a row, but the “Bees” quickly made up for lost time, leveling the score to 11-11. The final part of the map was the most intense, the teams exchanged rounds, eventually reaching additional maps. Unfortunately for the Turkish players, Vitality proved to be slightly stronger, finishing the match 15-13. The best player of the second map was baddyG, who played on Omen, he finished the match with KD 37-17.

The third map was Ascent, and here Vitality didn't justify their choice. Having taken the pistol round and the next round, the hosts of the map began to lose ground sharply, which FUT Esports took advantage of. As a result, the first half of the map ended with a score of 9-3 in favor of the latter. After the side switch, the French players began to gain momentum, taking three rounds in a row, giving up one in return, and it already looked like it was a comeback, but the gap was too big. Ultimately, FUT Esports closed the map 13-10. The best player among the winners was qw1, on his Jett main he finished the match with KD 20-13.

The next map was Icebox, and on it the Turkish players, albeit with difficulty, won the victory. The pistol and the first rounds were taken by Vitality, but could not keep the advantage, and FUT Esports equalized the gap, as a result, the first half of the match ended with a score of 6-6. After that, the representatives of Turkey remembered that it was they who had chosen this map, and gradually began to come forward. After losing 3 rounds in the end, they took 7 in a row, thanks to which they finished the match with a score of 13-9. MrFaliN turned out to be the best player of the match, on Sova he finished the game with KD 18-13.

The meeting ended on Split, and this map was the least interesting. Representatives of Turkey completely dominated the first half of the match, taking the pistol round and the next two rounds, they abruptly took the lead, before the change of sides the score was 9-3. After switching sides, the Bees tried to comeback and even closed the gap a little, but in the end, FUT Esports put the squeeze on their opponents, ending the match with a score of 13-7. Man of the Match was qRaxs, playing on Raze he finished the map with KD 24-13.

As a result of the match, Team Vitality won the silver medal and a prize pool of €35,000. In turn, FUT Esports became the champions of the tournament, earning a cash prize of €50,000.
