How was the fourth week of VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers

The fourth gaming week of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Challengers 2 group stage has come to an end, following which the teams 100 Thieves, Ghost Gaming, XSET, Evil Geniuses, OpTic Gaming, Luminosity Gaming and FaZe Clan secured participation in the championship playoffs. The last slot in the playoffs from Group A will be determined next game week - The Guard and NRG will compete for it.

Group A

The unexpected leader of group A was 100 Thieves, who won over NRG (2:0) last week. Not far away is Ghost Gaming, which in their duel dealt with TSM (2:0). The third leader of group A is the XSET team, which turned out to be stronger than The Guard (2:1) the day before.

Note that The Guard and NRG teams will compete for the fourth place. They will meet in person to compete for a ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Challengers 2 playoffs.

Group B

The leader of group B was the Evil Geniuses team, which again surprised in the championship, this time beating OpTic Gaming (2:1). At the same time, Luminosity Gaming outplayed Cloud9 (2:0), thus guaranteeing itself participation in the playoffs of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Challengers 2. The FaZe Clan team deserved its ticket to the playoffs, which turned out to be stronger than the Sentinels (2: 0).

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers will run online from May 13 to June 26. Twelve teams from North America are battling it out for a $200,000 prize pool, ranking points, and two tickets to the 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour: Stage 2 Masters in Copenhagen.
