Chris Lena, lead producer of the Diablo II remake, in a recent interview with PCGamesN, talked about how Ressurected's alpha testing will take place. According to Chris, the game will receive two stages of testing at once.
In the first alpha test, the authors intend to study the single player game, and in the second, they will test the Ressurected multiplayer. Also, the second stage will be a stress test for the remake.
In an interview, Chris added that two stages are needed to shape the future remake. The door is still open for things like balance changes, he said.
Calling for alpha testing has already started on the Diablo II: Ressurected Battle.net page. The reimagining of the classic Diablo II will be released before the end of this year on all platforms.
