Following the matches that took place on September 29, teams such as SuperMassive Esports and LGD Gaming reached the final of the Play-In stage. They beat MAD Lions and Rainbow7 in previous matches and will play against Unicorns of Love and Legacy Esports, respectively. By the way, the battle between Legacy and LGD Gaming has already begun.

Thus, MAD Lions and Rainbow7 completed their path in the championship. The teams took 19-20 place in the standings and received 0.75% of the total prize fund. At the moment we do not know exactly how much financial resources the fund makes. This detail will become known after the end of the League of Legends World Championship.

The 2020 World Championship runs from September 25 to October 31. The teams came to Shanghai in order to determine the winner, who will take the main prize in the amount of 25% of the total prize money.
