2020 World Championship: results of the first round of Play-In

The first stage of the Play-In has been completed. Now we know the names of two more members who went to the group stage. Six other teams advanced to the second round of the Play-In, and two more completed their way in the tournament.

The best performances in Group A and Group B were Team Liquid and PSG Talon, respectively. INTZ and V3 ESports in the same groups showed the worst performance and ended their way in the championship. Lecagy Esports and Unicorns of Love, who finished second in the quintets, went straight to the final. SuperMassive Esports, MAD Lions, Rainbow7 and LGD Gaming, in turn, made it to the semifinals.

Based on the results of the second round, the final list of participants in the 2020 Worlds Championship group stage will be formed. Now it looks like this:

The 2020 World Championship runs from September 25 to October 31. Initially, they wanted to hold the championship in three different locations, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was decided to hold the championship in China, in Shanghai. Spectators can only watch the tournament via broadcasts and precautions have been taken at the venue.
