The next match of the day was NAVI vs Los Ratones. League newcomers Natus Vincere hold a 5-3 record in the group, while Los Ratones, as an invited team, managed to bounce back from a 0-4 start to reach 4-4 and secure a spot in the middle of the standings. Let's move on to the match overview.

Game 1 Picks:

  • Natus Vincere: Rumble, Xin Zhao, Ryze, Jhin, Bard
  • Los Ratones: KSante, Pantheon, Aurelion Sol, Caitlyn, Karma

The match began relatively smoothly with minor aggression in the lanes, but neither team could pull ahead. The situation was slightly better for NAVI regarding objectives. They managed to take two dragons, the Voidgrubs, and the Rift Herald. By the 15-minute mark, they held a 1,000 gold lead and a 4-2 kill advantage.

Natus Vincere were able to break the game open and increase their lead to over 4,000 gold after a dragon fight. Los Ratones took a fight in a very poor position, and NAVI capitalized on this to win the engagement and secure their third dragon.

The fight for the Infernal Soul essentially sealed the match. With all dragons secured, another Ace for NAVI, a Baron kill, and a 9,000 gold lead before 25 minutes.

The final fight occurred just a couple of minutes later inside the Los Ratones base, which Natus Vincere won without any difficulty. NAVI moves to 6-3, almost guaranteeing a playoff spot. Unfortunately for Los Ratones, their win streak is snapped; they fall to 4-5 but still retain good chances of making the playoffs.
