T1 Completely Dominate Top Esports 3-0 and Advance to the Worlds 2025 Grand Final
Across all three maps, T1 gave Top Esports absolutely no chance. This was the most confident and dominant performance from T1 throughout the entire tournament. Of course, Top Esports didn’t show their best form this season, but calling them a weak team would still be unfair.
In this match, Faker truly stood out — delivering a masterclass performance in all three games. The second map was more action-packed from both sides compared to the first, but T1 were simply on another level, while TES couldn’t keep up. Every objective and every inch of the map was under T1’s control.
The third game started well for TES, as their goal was to funnel as much farm as possible into their jungler and top laner. They focused heavily on ganking top to prevent Sion from scaling. However, T1 managed to trade evenly in those situations, going one for one and preventing any major gold lead. The final map ended with T1 completely taking over the map — the only things they gave up were the Grubs and the Rift Herald, which did absolutely nothing to help Top Esports.
A flawless 3-0 victory sends T1 to their fourth consecutive World Championship Final, where they will face KT Rolster. Top Esports end their Worlds 2025 run in 3rd–4th place.
Reminder: the Worlds 2025 final will take place on Sunday, 9 November. The match will be between KT Rolster and T1, played as a Best-of-Five (Bo5) with the Fearless Draft. The tournament winner will etch their name in history and also receive a cash prize of $1 million.
