Game 1The first game was very solid for KT Rolster, as they did everything possible to let their ADC play freely across the map. They also handled the HLE bot lane well, preventing Jhin from scaling. However, it was clear that Bard was not the most comfortable champion for Delight at this point — he had several major misplays, either doing nothing in fights or even saving KT’s champions with his ultimate, which often turned engagements against HLE. In the end, HLE dragged the game out far too long, while Corki (13/1/7) and Pantheon (7/1/11) completely dominated and secured the win for KT Rolster. 1:0 KT Rolster.
Game 2The second game looked very competitive, with KT Rolster seemingly in control. They secured all 4 dragons and earned the Chemtech Dragon Soul, which synergized perfectly with their draft, especially Sivir. However, HLE’s composition was extremely mobile and truly came online in the late game. They consistently zoned Sivir out of fights, preventing her from dealing damage, and that strategy secured their comeback and victory on the second map. 1:1.
Game 3The third game was filled with mistakes from both sides. HLE started strong, gaining over a 4k gold lead while also controlling objectives well. But, as has become almost a classic, the fight around Baron turned everything around — HLE lost the skirmish and KT Rolster not only equalized the gold but also secured Baron. Despite this, Hanwha still had the dragon advantage and reached Dragon Soul Point, with the next being an Infernal Soul. KT, however, managed to steal that crucial dragon, making the game look heavily in their favor. But then a single mistake in midlane from Sion, who overextended and was instantly deleted, cost KT the match. Without a frontline, KT had no chance in the final fight, and HLE won 5–0 before closing out the game. 2:1 HLE.
Hanwha Life Esports top laner Zeus earned MVP honors for his exceptional play, finishing with a 6/9/10 on Rumble, 7/2/7 on Ambessa and an impressive 2/3/8 on Aatrox throughout the series.
This victory marked the 19th win for HLE, with 8 losses. For KT Rolster, it was their 15th defeat, leaving them with a total of 12 wins.
