On Game 1, T1 came out swinging with an aggressive strategy, aiming to shut down Chovy and deny him space. Early on, it worked — Orianna fell behind with a 0–3 scoreline, while Faker ’s Annie looked strong and in control. However, everything changed in the mid-game. Gen.G ramped up the pressure with coordinated map movements and successful ganks from Wukong. Orianna began to contribute in teamfights and eventually outleveled Annie by three levels. While not the final moment, the pivotal fight near the dragon sealed the deal, giving Gen.G the win in Game 1.
Game 2 was fully under T1’s control. Their greatest strength was positioning — choosing the right spots to fight and splitting skirmishes into two parts. This allowed them to quickly eliminate one or two targets before continuing the fight with a numbers advantage. T1 dominated in narrow spaces with AoE crowd control, not giving Gen.G’s champions any chance to scale. It was a clean and calculated win.
T1 completely swept Game 3. Despite the surprise Thresh pick for Keria, the strategy paid off — adding more engage, survivability, and mobility to the comp. Thanks to this, T1 consistently came out on top in fights, often escaping with low HP. By the 20-minute mark, they were already 7k gold ahead — a massive lead that left Gen.G with almost no comeback options. T1 played out their advantage perfectly and ended Gen.G’s 27-game win streak.
After this match, Gen.G now sit at 19–1 in the group, while T1 improve to 12–7. The MVP of the series was T1’s support — Keria.
