FURIA eliminated from MSI 2025 after losing to GAM Esports
FURIA fell to GAM Esports in a very tense series in the Play-In Stage lower bracket elimination match. The teams played a Bo5 using the Fearless Draft mode.
After winning the second and third games, it seemed like FURIA was about to close out the series, but GAM Esports had other plans. GAM took the first map but then lost the next two almost without a fight. Many thought they were out of it, but they regrouped and won two straight games to knock FURIA out of the tournament.
With this win, GAM Esports advance to Play-In Stage Round 3, where they’ll have one last chance to qualify for the Bracket Stage. They’ll face G2 Esports, one of the strongest teams in the LEC.
The Mid-Season Invitational 2025 runs from June 27 to July 13. Teams will fight for the MSI 2025 title and a $2,000,000 USD prize pool, as well as the biggest reward: qualification for the 2025 World Championship. Make sure to watch and support your favorite team!
