Linkin Park Unveil New Anthem ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ for 2024 League of Legends World Championship
Linkin Park have delighted fans with a new track from their upcoming album From Zero – Heavy Is The Crown. This song has been chosen as the official anthem for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship and is accompanied by an animated music video that fans can watch below.
Speaking about the song, Mike Shinoda said, “It’s been an amazing experience partnering with Riot to bring this anthem to the global League of Legends community. The song is a real highlight of this new era for us, harnessing our signature sound and infusing it with fresh energy. We’re so excited for players and fans to experience this!”
Heavy Is The Crown follows the release of The Emptiness Machine, which introduced the band's new co-vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain. This previous release has already become Linkin Park’s highest-charting single ever in the UK.
