The first match of the Worlds 2022 semi-finals in Atlanta has ended. JD Gaming and T1 clashed on their way to the final.

The match with a large signboard ended in favor of the South Korean team. JD Gaming failed to cope with the onslaught of the current T1

The series started with JD Gaming winning the first map. The LPL champions, thanks to Kanavi's performance on Viego, managed to beat T1 in early counter-plays, and Hope with his Aphelios finished what he started.

Then T1 ruled the ball: on the second map, Zeus with his Yone did not allow Malphite from 369 to open up. T1 beat JD Gaming on the second map with a score of 17-11 at 34 minutes.

The third map was very even, but Gumayusi's duo-bot Lucian and Keria's Nami had the final say. In an equal fight, on the 30th minute, T1 won with a score of 23-18.

Card number 4, which became a match point, was full of despair and pain. JD Gaming already felt the end of their stay at Worlds 2022 was approaching, and T1 provided it: the giants of South Korea dealt with the LPL champions with a score of 30 to 7 in 24 minutes.

T1 becomes the first team to qualify for the Worlds 2022 finals, which will be the club's 5 (!) appearances in the final stages of the World Championships. The South Korean club will play its match against compatriots from Gen.G or DRX.

JD Gaming finish their performance at the semi-final stage, getting into the TOP-4. The 369th team earned $178,000.
