Don't miss the start of Worlds 2022 in League of Legends

The big day for competitive League of Legends and esports fans is here. Today starts the main championship of 2022 - Worlds 2022.

The final event starts from the Play-In stage, which will be held in Mexico. The participating teams have 4 tickets to the Worlds 2022 group stage at stake.

12 teams will share places in the group stage in several stages: from September 29 to October 2, Play-In # 1 will be held, from where 2 teams will go to the groups. From October 3 to 4, the remaining 10 teams will play in the Single Elimination bracket for the remaining 2 places.

The four most successful and prepared teams from the list above will advance to the Worlds 2022 group stage. A new company will be waiting for them there.

The teams that have passed the Play-In will complement each of the four quartets of the group stage. The format of Play-In #1 matches is bo1, the Play-In #2 system is Single Elimination with bo5 matches.

Worlds 2022 will take place from September 29 to November 5 in four cities in Mexico and the United States. The world title match will take place at the Chase Center, San Francisco. The total prize fund of the tournament will be $2,225,000, and in total 24 teams will play in the tournament.
