Counter Logic Gaming held their last meeting in the quarterfinals of the lower bracket of LCS Summer 2022.

The confrontation between the teams took place on the night of September 1-2. Counter Logic Gaming took the first two maps in 26 and 41 minutes, respectively. After that, Team Liquid rallied and took from their opponents, first one map in 29 minutes, after him and the second one in 23 minutes. Thus, Liquid brought the meeting to a draw.

After such a turn, the players of Counter Logic Gaming got lost and could not play so well to beat their opponents once again. As a result, the fifth map went to Team Liquid, and it took them only 30 minutes.

CLG took 5th-6th place in the standings and stopped a step away from reaching the prize zone. This is where Counter Logic Gaming's performance came to an end. Team Liquid, in turn, made it to the top 4 and will play in the lower bracket semi-finals with the winner of the duel Evil Geniuses vs TSM.

Earlier, Cloud9 and 100 Thieves reached the final of the upper bracket. The winner of this meeting will become the grand finalist.
