EU Masters Summer 2022 group stage starts today

On August 29, the confrontation within the group stage begins. Previously, the teams fought at the Play-In and Play-In Knockout Stage. Following the results of the past matches, JD-XL, Crvena Zvezda Esports, BISONS ECLUB, The Agency, Illuinar Gaming, Entropiq, Outplayed, Team Phantasma, as well as KRC Genk Esports, For The Win Esports, eSuba and White Dragons have already left the competition.

In Group A, Giants Gaming, Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition, Vitality.Bee and Zero Tenacity will play against each other.

In the second quartet, AGO Rogue, Anorthosis Famagusta Esports, LDLC OL and X7 Esports will meet face to face.

In the third four, SK Gaming Prime, Team BDS Academy, Team Heretics and Valiance will compete for two invites to the playoffs, and Dusty, FC Schalke 04 Esports, GameWard and Macko Esports will fight in Group D

The two best teams from each group will advance to the playoffs and fight in the single-elimination bracket. It is noteworthy that all matches of the final stage will be held in the Bo5 format.

European Masters Summer 2022 runs from August 24 to September 25. The total prize fund of the tournament is 150,000 euros. The winner will take home a reward of 40,000 euros, while the silver medalist and teams that take 3rd-4th places will get prizes of 25,000 and 13,500 respectively. The tournament is the second most important in the European division after the LEC league.
