Dignitas' Twitter account revealed that Dong-woo 'River' Kim is no longer part of Dignitas, where he spent 9 months. River joined Dignitas on November 21 last year. During this time, he managed to take part in the international team in two championships: LCS Lock-In 2022 and LCS Spring 2022. In the first case, the team took 3-4th place, and in the second - 7th place. In both cases, the team did not receive a drop of prize money.

The jungler's career began in mid-2018 under the BowQen Blackbucs tag. He later played for ahq e-Sports Club, V3 Esports, Talon Esports, PSG Talon and Dignitas. For all the time, he managed to win the Mid-Season Showdown 2020 PCS Spring 2020, PCS Spring 2021 and PCS Summer 2021. In addition, he made two appearances at the World Championship. In 2020, he took 9-12th place, and in 2021 - 9-11th. The awards at these events totaled $55,625.

River will now play alongside Eric 'Licorice' Ritchie, Milo 'Pridestalkr' Vehnes, Nicholas 'Ablazeolive' Antonio Abbott, Trevor 'Stixxay' Hayes and Ju-soon 'Olleh' Kim in Golden Guardians.

Dignitas, in turn, has not yet announced who will be the replacement for the departed forester. Most likely for now, representatives of the Academy roster Lawrence 'Exyu' Xu will play in the main roster.
