TSM made changes to their LoL rosters

The management of the TSM esports club announced on its Twitter account that it has made changes to the League of Legends rosters. Colin 'Solo' Ernest moved from the academy to the starting lineup, and Alex 'Soul' Luo, in turn, will continue his journey to TSM Academy. The announcement says that the decision was mutual and no one forced anyone to do anything.

Solo will now play with Mingyu 'Spica' Lu, Juan 'Maple' Yi-Teng Tony 'Instinct' Ng and Jonathan 'Chime' Pomponio. Alex 'Soul' Luo will in turn perform with Andy 'AnDa' Hong, Ji 'Takeover' Cha Hyun-min, Edward 'Tactical' Ra and Choi 'Mia' Sang-in.

Colin 'Solo' Ernest started his career as a professional League of Legends player in 2014 under the Zenith Esports tag. Later, he played under the tag of such clubs as Team Liquid, Echo Fox, FlyQuest, Golden Guardians, Counter Logic Gaming and others. Over the course of his career, he almost managed to get to the mark of $40,000 in prize money earned.

Alex 'Soul' Luo, on the other hand, has much less experience in the professional scene and has been playing for Wildcard Gaming, Immortals AOE, TSM Academy and TSM's starting roster since starting his career last September.

Such a move looks quite logical, since Soul still does not have enough experience to play at a high level, and Solo, who replaced him in the TSM starting roster, will be able to give the players what Alex Luo could not give.

Both TSM rosters are currently playing in the American League of Legends. TSM play in the LCS Summer 2022 league and share eighth place with Immortals with three wins and eight losses. The league started on June 18 and will end on August 14. The total prize pool of LCS Summer 2022 is $200,000 and three invitations to the 2022 World Championship. The winner, runner-up and bronze medalists will take home $100,000, $50,000 and $30,000 respectively, while the fourth place team will receive a $20,000 consolation prize.

TSM Academy, in turn, perform in LCS Academy Summer 2022 and their results there are also not very good. The team is on the 9th line out of 10. The team, apparently, is not destined to bypass the Play-In stage in the upcoming Proving Grounds. The prize fund of the latter will be $100,000 and will be held from August 3rd to 31st. LCS Proving Grounds Summer 2022 is the main event of LCS Academy Summer 2022.
