SnowFlower Becomes Nongshim RedForce's New Support

Korean player No “ SnowFlower ” Hoi-jong will take on the role of support for Nongshim RedForce, one of the permanent LCK teams. It is reported that he will play with the team until the end of the LCK Summer 2022 split.

The announcement was made by Nongshim themselves on their official NS RedForce Global Twitter page. The organization did not specify whether SnowFolwer would play instead of or alternately with current support Lee “Effort” Sang-ho.

No Hoi-jong, aka SnowFlower, has played in many Korean teams, including the former Afreeca Freecs, who now also occupy a slot on the LCK only under the name Kwangdong Freecs, as well as KT Rolster. But lately, he has been playing more actively not on the home stage, but in Turkey, on TCL, from where, together with SuperMassive Esports, he went to Worlds 2020. And now, after almost 2 years of break, he returns to the professional scene of South Korea again.

The Nongshim RedForce team itself is now playing in the group stage of the continental league in Korea LCK Summer 2022, where it occupies a lagging position, now it is 8 out of 10 lines of the leaderboard with a score of 2-6.

Perhaps, such a decision and the signing of the contract were made precisely to rectify the situation and snatch a couple of positions at LCK Summer 2022. The secondary reason could be COVID-19, which is now gaining momentum in Korea again and which Effort was ill with earlier.
