TretiakovWell, welcome back to the LPL Summer 2022!
Let me briefly introduce you what had happened in the 3rd week and 3rd day inside the strongest, for now, tournament in Asia over the LoL discipline. For many reasons, the number of high skill Pro players in LoL territorially gathered in Asia, especially in China. That is why this tournament is so spectacular to watch! But sometimes we can be busy watching the whole battle online. In that case you can easily check out our daily digest about LPL Summer 2022 in China.
The 3rd day of the week was pretty interesting to analyze and exciting to watch, especially IG vs EDG. What is more, we saw a really great and balanced contest between TES and BLG, despite losing 0-2, BLG demonstrated a truly deep level of understanding game timings and defensive plays.
Let’s analyze the 3rd day of the LPL Summer 2022 a little bit deeper.
IG vs EDG
In the 1st game IG confidently picked Wukong for creating more space around the map, EDG answered with Lissandra which is kinda aggressive and dangerous for low armor heroes. IG understood the EDG’s intention and counterpicked them with heavy damage adc Draven. According to plan EDG wanted to make space for Lucian to farm, but for the 30 minutes he did not do anything during the fights. At 23th minute teams faced each other and EDG lost this fight and, a bit later, Nexus. 1-0 for IG.
However, in the 2nd game EDG managed to build a pick around early aggressive moves with Corki, Zeri, Viego and Renata. As a consequence, EDG started to take control of the map tower by tower, dragon by dragon. At 24th minute teams met each other nearby Nashor where Edward Gaming annihilated the opponent with 10k overfarm. After taking Nashor’s things, EDG took the 2nd round. 1-1.In the 3rd and final round both teams understood the most workable strategy with early pressure against the opponent. IG took their signature Draven, but EDG had something to answer - by one of the most unbalanced adc hero Zeri. As a result, after 23 minute when Edward Gaming took Nashor they wiped the enemy having 10k overfarm and a really strong adc(Viper). At 26th minute IG’s Nexus fell down. 1-2.
TES vs BLG
The 1st round was definitely a one-way street because of Top Esports smart and considered pick, as a result, they won each lane from the beginning and took 4 dragons one by one till 20 minute. Suprisingly, BLG played defensive really well, and even it managed to them to kill Nashor and fifth dragon. TES could lose the 1st round, that is why they grouped up, killed 2nd Nashor and destroyed enemy Nexus at 35th minute.1-0.
Second game was kinda similar to the previous one. Both teams took two dragons, also both of them tried to farm more than fight. In the end of the 30th minute TES took Nashor and decided to end the enemy up while it was possible. Eventually, Top Esposrts took the 2nd round in 37 minutes. 2-0.
