Rumor: Berkserker has lost documents and risks missing the start of LCS Summer 2022

According to the Dexerto portal, citing the statement of the former Cloud9 coach, Berkserker lost his passport, and at the same time his visa to the United States, which is why he risks missing the start of LCS Summer 2022. At the same time, the North American team may face big problems, because before the start the championship remains only 10 days, as well as the transfer window is closed.

Apparently, Berkserker lost his passport along with the visa itself. As reported on the LS broadcast, the 19-year-old South Korean esportsman will take several weeks to get a new document if he has to re-apply. This means he is unlikely to return to the United States before the start of LCS Summer 2022.

During the break between the spring and summer splits, Cloud9 attended a month-long bootcamp in Seoul. It was at this time that Berkserker's passport was allegedly lost, meaning he would not be able to re-enter the US, as lost or stolen US visas cannot be replaced.

While the Cloud9 bootcamp itself ended on June 5, the organization itself has yet to confirm if its player was able to return to the country along with the rest of the team.

The visa re-application process is lengthy and could mean Cloud9 will have to make roster changes to close the loss of Berkserker while he gets a new passport.

However, the organization can draw on internal resources as it keeps jungler Svenskeren on its balance sheet and also continues to actively develop its academy.

Recall that Berkserker joined Cloud9 in November last year. During this time, the 19-year-old South Korean player took fourth place with the team in the LCS Spring 2022, without getting into the Mid-Season Invitational 2022.
