Riot Games has unveiled the schedule for the first week of LEC 2022 Summer. The Summer Split kicks off on June 17th, with Week 1 matches running from the 17th to the 19th. 10 teams of the European Championship will play 3 series in bo1 format.

LEC 2022 Summer matches on June 17th:

  • Team Vitality vs MAD Lions - 19:00 EEST;
  • Team BDS vs SK Gaming - 20:00 EEST;
  • Misfits Gaming vs EXCEL - 21:00 EEST;
  • G2 Esports vs Astralis - 22:00 EEST;
  • Rogue vs Fnatic - 23:00 EEST.

Of the matches on Friday, it is worth noting the match of the silver and bronze medalists of the LEC 2022 Spring Playoffs, the Rogue and Fnatic teams. As part of the playoffs of the previous split, the teams played a full bo5 series, which ended with the victory of Rogue.

LEC 2022 Summer matches on June 18th:

  • Team BDS vs Astralis - 18:00 EEST;
  • SK Gaming vs MAD Lions - 19:00 EEST;
  • Team Vitality vs Misfits Gaming - 20:00 EEST;
  • Fnatic vs EXCEL - 21:00 EEST;
  • Rogue vs G2 Esports - 10:00 PM EEST.

On Saturday, among other matches, Team BDS and Astralis will meet. This confrontation is interesting on the one hand because Astralis finished the spring split in the last 10th place, having won only 3 matches, that is, we will have the opportunity to watch their battle with the team that took 9th place at LEC 2022 Spring, namely Team BDS. On the other hand, Team BDS carried out a roster rotation, replenishing the main roster with players from Team BDS Academy who successfully perform in the LFL. The first week of the summer LEC will be a test for the updated roster.

  • Misfits Gaming vs Astralis - 18:00 EEST;
  • Team Vitality vs Team BDS - 19:00 EEST;
  • SK Gaming vs Fnatic - 20:00 EEST;

The champions of the G2 Esports Spring Split will take on EXCEL, who finished in 6th place in the LEC 2022 Spring playoffs. It is worth noting that G2 Esports recently took 3rd-4th place at the Mid-Season Invitational 2022 and earned $25,000 in prize money.
