The match day kicks off with Natus Vincere vs Team Heretics. It is an important match for NAVI to secure their position at the top of the standings, and for Team Heretics to increase their chances of advancing to the playoffs. Let's see how the match went.

Game 1 Picks:

  • Natus Vincere: Ambessa, Pantheon, Aurora, Caitlyn, Bard
  • Team Heretics: KSante, Xin Zhao, LeBlanc, Ashe, Seraphine

Game 2 Picks:

  • Natus Vincere: Sion, Aatrox, Ahri, Yunara, Lulu
  • Team Heretics: Rumble, Wukong, Annie, Xayah, Rakan

The first map saw Team Heretics in their favorite style: applying early pressure and snowballing. Initially, it really worked out - 3 dragons, and a slight advantage in gold and kills. However, in the mid-game, when NAVI acquired their items and were ready for team fights, Parus on Bard delivered excellent ultimates that allowed them to catch Team Heretics' bot laners. A couple of won team fights, and the first map went to Natus Vincere.

The second map was completely under NAVI 's control, leaving no chances for Team Heretics. Early aggression from Rhilech on Aatrox provided an early advantage for the team. After that, NAVI simply started to press even harder, creating space for Aatrox to control objectives while the entire team built up their lead.

A confident 2:0 for NAVI and a 3-1 score in the group. Meanwhile, Team Heretics suffer their 4th defeat and sit at the very bottom of the tournament standings. This is a very dangerous situation for TH, as they only have 4 matches left to play. If they want to advance to the playoffs, all of these matches must be won at the very least, and ideally with a 2:0 score.
