Riot Games will host LEC Spring 2020 LAN-finals in the other place due to coronavirus

The news appeared on the league website. Initially, the meetings of the final stage were to be held in the capital of Hungary, Budapest. Now all players will have to go to Berlin, where they will visit the LEC Studio. The outbreak of the coronavirus was named as the main reason for the transfer of the venue of the LAN finals.

In a special way, it is worth noting that, unlike many organizers, Riot Games promised not to close the championship from visitors, as was done at one of the recent e-sports tournaments. LEC Spring 2020 organizers also said that if the situation with the coronavirus is gaining momentum, then Riot Games will still have to take appropriate measures to ensure greater security.
