The LEC Spring 2022 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held from January 14 to April 10 in a mixed format, 10 teams from Europe fought for a prize pool of €200,000, as well as a ticket to the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational 2022. The winner of the tournament was the team G2 Esports, which defeated Rogue 3-0 in the grand final.

The tournament for the future winner began with not the most outstanding performance at the group stage, during which G2 Esports won eleven victories and also lost seven matches. Nevertheless, the team made it to the playoffs, where they lost to Fnatic (1:3) in the semifinals and fell into the lower bracket.

However, here G2 Esports managed to return to the fight, having outplayed Team Vitality (3:0), Misfits Gaming (3:0) and Fnatic (3:0) in turn, making it to the grand final. In the decisive match, the team again very confidently defeated Rogue (3:0), thus winning a ticket to the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational 2022.

It should be noted that Vetheo from the Misfits Gaming team was recognized as the best player of the championship. At the same time, there is not a single G2 Esports player in the LEC Spring 2022 symbolic team - Odoamne, Vetheo, Malrang, Upset and Hylissang.
