DreamLeague Season 22 is gaining momentum. On our screens the battles continue in the second group stage, where 8 teams will determine the participants of the play-offs.

OG with Shopify Rebellion are among the contenders for the main stage of the tournament. By the way, they will close the next day of games with their face-to-face match.

We are trying to find out how the match between OG and Shopify Rebellion will end and which of the teams will be able to improve their position in the standings on the eve of the equator of the second group stage.

Shopify Rebellion's uniform

We start the match breakdown with an analysis of SR's match form. In this match they will play as favourites with odds to win around 1.8.

On the home stage, Shopify Rebellion have finished in the top 2 twice. In the third round, Arteezy and company finally snatched the championship.

At The Lima Major 2023, Shopify Rebellion made it all the way to the top 4. Getting into the top three was prevented, unexpectedly, by Aurora.

In addition to The Lima Major 2023, the team played at DreamLeague Season 19, and they played even better than the Peruvian major. Cooler because they played with substitutes (the inexperienced Mikey played as a substitute for Abed) and reached the top 3 of the tournament for $1,000,000.

At DreamLeague Season 20 SR again played with substitutes, but this time they failed to repeat the success of the DL S19 period: Shopify Rebellion failed to pass the first group stage of the DL and, like Liquid, left the championship early.

After the 20th season of DreamLeague Shopify Rebellion played two major events: Bali Major 2023 and Riyadh Masters 2023. Both championships ended miserably: TOP-12 and TOP-16 respectively.

The International is more interesting than Shopify's position at DreamLeague Season 21. Having fallen into Group A to such serious opponents as Liquid and Aurora. Nevertheless, Shopify Rebellion took the first place in their basket, thereby advancing to the top set of play-offs.

In the first play-offs match of DreamLeague Season 21 Shopify Rebellion had to mobilise all the knowledge and all the skill to defeat the Eastern European residents from BB Team. The match ended with the score 2-1 in favour of Shopify, and Arteezy for the first time in a long time gave not a meme highlite, but a game-changing moment.

In the match to advance to the DL S21 SR Ledge and Team Spirit, but later again outplayed BB in the lower grid match. However, it was not possible to take revenge from Spirit in the grand finals: the Dragons easily slammed Shopify Rebellion with a score of 3-0, and Arteezy and company took the top 2.

Shopify Rebellion showed a very questionable performance in the group stage. They barely managed to claw their way into the top 4 in Basket B, finishing it with a score of 2-7.

In the seeding match for the play-offs of The International 2023, Arteezy and company played against one of the main favourites of the tournament, Team Spirit. I don't know why, with a huge advantage on the first map, SR couldn't do anything against the Dragons and rather mediocrely Ledgeyli in the series with a score of 0-2. Next was even more pitiful, as SR lost to their compatriots from TSM and left the main tournament of the year in 13-16th place.

In 2024, Shopify Rebellion won the qualifiers for DL Season 22 and ESL Birmingham 2024, and finished in the top 3 at Dacha.

Shopify Rebellion made it through the first group stage confidently with a score of 9-5. They beat Aurora and Gaming Gladiators at the start of the second group stage before losing to BB.

Shopify Rebellion is most often played by Crystal Maiden (8 matches, 62% wins), Storm Spirit (7 matches, 57% wins), Doom (7 matches, 57% wins).

There was also Rubick (5 matches, 80% win rate), Terrorblade (4 matches, 75% wins), Underlord (4 matches, 75% wins).

OG Form

We continue the match analysis with the analysis of OG's form. In this match, the European club will play as an outsider, with odds to win at around 1.9.

At DPC 2023: WEU Division 1 Tour 1, OG were unable to guarantee themselves a spot in the top 4 and consequently missed out on The Lima Major 2023. Things seemed to pick up during the second round of DPC 2023: WEU Division 1. Then OG made a strong-willed comeback and made it to the Top 4 after tiebreaks.

At the Berlin Major, the team played with two stand-ins and made it to the top 6, but it seems that those stand-ins were the secret to their success. After returning to regular season matches with a full roster, OG looked critically bad, but at the last moment they improved.

At DPC 2023: WEU Tour 3, OG Long Team went down to the wire, but managed to keep their place in the top division by finishing in the top 5 in the third round of the professional season. By the way, at the last DreamLeague S19 OG also took 5th place and this is an indicator, but it is unlikely to be repeated in the new season.

After a year-long extravaganza, Ceb is the new OG player. OG resorted to their ultimatum weapon during DreamLeague Season 20, but it didn't help them and OG finished in the top 20.

After DreamLeague Season 20, OG attended another championship of a larger calibre, the Riyadh Masters 2023. Unfortunately for them, they ended it on a Minor note - in TOP-14.

"Closed" the season with a performance at the closed Western European qualifiers for The International 2023. The once two-time world champions failed to make it through the most competitive qualifiers and as a result OG flew past The International.

After failing to qualify for the year's main tournament, OG finished in the top 4 at DL Season 21 and ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Western Europe Closed Qualifier.

2024 started the year with a run at BB Dacha 2024 Dubai and a top-2 finish at DreamLeague Season 22 Qualifiers. Then they finished 2nd place at ESL One Birmingham 2024: WEU Qualifiers and Top 12 at BB Dacha Dubai 2024.

OG went through the first day of DL S22 very well. The team dryly shut down G2.IG and drew with Falcons. The second day was worse than the first: a loss to BB and a draw with GG. On the third day played two draws: against Vp and Azure Ray. On the last day we played a draw with Heroic.

We couldn't get to the next stage directly and had to play tiebreaker. There OG showed their class and beat GG and Vp in turn.

In the first game of the second group stage of DreamLeague Season 22 the team played against BB. Showing a cool, fast-paced play on the first, Ledgeili on the second and third maps, thus losing with a score of 1-2. Next they lost against Falcons, but cameback series against Xtreme Gaming.
