Biography Ame
Wang «Ame» Chunyu is a professional Dota 2 player. Despite Ame started his career in 2015, he has already received the status of one of the best first-position performers in the Chinese region. Ame has played at many prestigious tournaments in his career where held honorable places and demonstrated his confident play. We present to your attention Ame’s road to becoming an esportsman.
The beginning of the career
Like the majority of esportsmen, Ame had started his road to the heights way before his arrival to a professional team. Since his early years, he has been fond of video games, especially competitive ones. Unsurprisingly, they helped him to build a pretty successful career.
Ame made his debut on the professional scene in September 2015. Then, Ame became a player in the youth roster of CDEC. Ame spent a year with CDEC.Youth. During this time, he with the team took part in various tournaments both in the region and outside it. He participated in the qualifiers for The Summit, The Shanghai Major, MDL 2015, and other championships. However, the large competition inside the region did not allow CDEC.Youth to make it to the highest-level tournaments. However, it did not stop Ame from standing out against his teammates.
Ame became a player of LGD in September 2016.
The first period in LGD Gaming
Having transferred to LGD Gaming in 2016, results became better but it required almost a year. The first tournament Ame won on the roster of LGD was the championship Mars Dota 2 League 2017.
LGD performed at The International 2017 in August 2017 where it held 4th place. Despite the result being nice, Ame became inactive in December 2017. He returned to the ranks of the organization with new powers in January 2018.
The second arrival to LGD
Having returned to the ranks of LGD, Ame started playing with renewed vigor. The team placed 2nd at Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 in April 2018, after which it won EPICENTER XL in a month. LGD did not stop on it.
They also became the champions MDL Changsha Major in May 2018, after which they placed 3rd at China Dota2 Supermajor. PSG.LGD was coming to the upcoming TI8 as one of the main contenders to win the championships.
Everything was going in accordance with the plan at the beginning of the tournament: PSG.LGD was moving to the desired Aegis of the Champions methodically and without special efforts. However, there was OG. PSG.LGD sensationally lost to OG in the final of the upper bracket and they also were defeated in the grand final of the championship, having brought us the most epic match in the history of Dota. Despite the team had held the honorable second place at the main tournament of the year, LGD considered this result as unsatisfying. However, the Chinese character did not allow the team to give up.
The team placed 4th at The Chongqing Major in January 2019, it finished 5th-6th at DreamLeague Season 11 in March and held 4th place at MDL Disneyland Paris Major two months later. In June, the team finished 5th-6th at EPICENTER Major 2019. There was the domestic The International ahead, at which LGD had to win the rematch. Everything was fine at the beginning but the team made the same mistake later: the team was beaten in the upper bracket again by OG, after which LGD stepped down to the lower bracket where they were defeated by Team Liquid. The team placed 3rd at TI9, which became the point of no return for the golden roster of LGD.
The five played together for some time, after which it disbanded completely. Ame moved to CDEC where he was playing at the beginning of 2020.
The player managed to place 2nd at China Dota2 Development League Season 2 with CDEC. However, the player did not play for CDEC for long. Ame became a player of the renewed roster of PSG.LGD in September 2020.
The third period in PSG.LGD
Having returned to the native environment of the club, the player continues playing on the highest level. The team held first place at China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 1 and second place at OGA Dota PIT S3: China in October.
Ame has managed to earn more than 2,245,000 dollars of prize money in his career.
Zhang «Faith_bian» Ruida is a professional Dota 2 player from China. Faith_bian began his career in 2014 and since then, he has managed to become the champion of many prestigious tournaments, including the main esports tournament – The International. We present to your attention Faith_bian’s road to becoming an esportsman.
The beginning of the career
Like the majority of professional players, Faith_bian had started his road to the top of the industry way before the arrival to a professional organization. Since his childhood, the player has spent a lot of time playing PC and he was especially good in competitive team games. The one was Dota.
The Chinese team Speed Gaming.cn was the first club, for which Faith_bian was playing. Faith_bian played at small local championships being on its roster, the brightest result was fourth place at V Games Tournament. However, Faith_Bian moved to Wings Gaming in October 2014, Faith_bian’s road started there.
Wings Gaming
The first period of playing for Wings (2014) can hardly be called the successful one. The team participated in various local tournaments but it showed no significant result. The most remarkable one was World Cyber Arena 2015. The team placed 4th there.
Faith_bian took a break from competing at the end of 2014 to return with new powers in August 2015.
The results became significantly better after his return to the competitive environment. The team achieved victory at ESL One Manila 2016 in April 2016 and became the champion of WCA2016 CN Qualifiers S1 a month later.
The team placed 2nd at Nanyang Dota 2 Championships Season 2 in July 2016 and prevailed at The Summit 5 the same month. The team was coming to the upcoming The International 2016 after that.
Wings literally made a sensation at The International. They became the champions of the tournament, having left behind such famous tags as LGD, EHOME, EG, and others. But as it often happens after The International, the team faced a period of decline. In November 2016, Northern Arena BEAT Invitational was the last tournament Faith_bian won on the roster of Wings.
The roster of Wings transferred to Team Random in April 2017 but the team existed only for one month, after which it got into a scandal and fell off the grid. Faith_bian managed to rehabilitate and moved to EHOME in May 2017.
EHOME
The first period of playing for EHOME can’t be called successful. The team showed no decent results from 2017 to the beginning of 2019. The situation improved in 2019.
The team prevailed at The Bucharest Major in January 2019 and then placed 5th-6th at The Chongqing Major. Then there was a row of not that successful performances, like a 5th-6th place at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 2, and also the failure in the qualifiers for The International 2019 where the team placed 3rd.
The team held first place at Hainan Master Cup in November 2019 but it failed the performance at MDL Chengdu Major, having placed 9th-12th.
In January 2020, Faith_bian held 8th place at China Dota2 Professional League Season 1 being on the roster of EHOME. The results became better after all later.
The team placed 4th at CDA League Season 1 in April and it won DPL-CDA Professional League Season 1 in May, the team prevailed at DPL-CDA Professional League Season 2 in July of the same year.
PSG.LGD
Faith_bian moved to PSG.LGD in September 2020. The first results with the new team can be called pretty successful. The team placed 1st at China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 1 and also 2nd at OGA Dota PIT S3: China.
Faith_bian has already earned more than 2,000,000 dollars of prize money in his career.
