Cheng «NothingToSay» Jin Xiang is a professional Dota 2 player from Malaysia. NothingToSay is one of the youngest gamers in the South Asian region. He began his career in 2018 but he has already played for one of the most prestigious organizations in the world. Let us introduce you to the road NothingToSay took in order to become an esportsman.
Beginning of Career
As the majority of esportsmen, NothingToSay’s road to the top of the industry had begun long before he joined a professional team. Since his early age, Cheng had been spending a lot of time on computer games where he showed excellent results. Consequently, it helped him to build a career of a professional gamer.
The first team for NothingToSay was BLACKJACK. It was a Malaysian roster that participated in local tournaments. The team was unable to show truly worthy results, however, NothingToSay stood out among his teammates.
In October 2018, he was noticed by WarriorsGaming.Unity who offered him to join their roster.
NothingToSay played for WGU for 5 months. In this time his biggest result was second place at World Electronic Sports Games 2018 Southeast Asia Finals and fourth place at ANGGAME China vs SEA #3 – Online Final. Also the team tried to make it to all possible top-tier tournaments but all of them brought nothing but failure to the gamer.
The next club was Powe of MYSG+AU. NothingToSay spent more than 3 months in the mix but he could not show any good results there.
After that, the gamer moved to Geek Fam where he played from June to August in 2019. As part of Geek Fam, NothingToSay failed the open qualifiers for The International 2019 and later left the team.
In August 2019, the gamer joined Alpha x Hashtag. There NothingToSay managed to win Hashtag Indy Tournament Season 2 and after that in November 2019 moved to EHOME
EHOME and PSG.LGD
His transfer to EHOME started a new chapter in the gamer’s career. Now NothingToSay became a member of a prestigious organization that holds a reputable status in the Chinese region. The tournaments and the opponents were equal to the team.
It took the gamer several months to blend in the game and in 2020 his results improved.
In April 2020, the team took third place at ESL One Los Angeles 2020 – Online: China, fourth place at CDA League Season 1. One month later the team took third place at OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: China, and then triumphed at DPL-CDA Professional League Season 1.
In July 2020, the team took 5-6 place at OGA Dota PIT S2: China and won the second season of DPL-CDA Professional League.
In September 2020, NothingToSay joined PSG.LGD as a leased player and it did not take him long to become a champion of a prestigious Chinese tournament.
In October 2020, PSG.LGD finished first at China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 1 and also took second place at OGA Dota PIT S3: China.
