Qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham started in America, China and Southeast Asia

In China the slot will be taken by the winner of the qualifier where Keen Gaming, EHOME, Royal Club and Invictus Gaming are taking part in. As for North America, J.Storm, Forward Gaming, TEAM TEAM and compLexity Gaming will be fighting there.
According to the results of the first matches in Southeast Asia, Team Amplify have already left the competition, Mineski and Tigers are one pace away from leaving as they are at the final of the lower bracket and TNC Predator became finalists and are preparing for the decisive meeting.

In China everything goes well for Keen Gaming, that have got to the final and are waiting for the winner of the pair of Invictus Gaming vs Royal Club. EHOME ended up their way at the qualifier after the first match of the lower bracket.

As for North America, J.Storm surprised everybody becoming the first collective to leave whereas compLexity Gaming passed the upper bracket and got to the final waiting for the winner of the final of the lower bracket where TEAM TEAM and Forward Gaming are going to play.

On 13 April, the last participants in ESL One Birmingham 2019 will be defined. In total 12 teams will be participating in the tournament, 8 out of them have already received direct invitations from the organizers. ESL One Birmingham 2019 will be taking place from 28 May till 2 June. The prize pool of the tournament will consist of $300,000. The championship is not a part of the series of Dota Pro Circuit tournaments, but it is still interesting for the participants as all ESL championships set Mercedes-Benz cars as prizes.
