ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 format has been updated again

After yesterday's events, which led to the fact that beastcoast and Natus Vincere would not be able to take part in the championship, the event organizers spoke about the changes in the tournament format.

Now from the Wild Card, as it was known before, not 2, but 3 participants will enter the group stage, and 7 teams will go from the group to the playoffs. In fact, there will be only one team out of the eight that will complete its path in the championship after this stage. The top 3 teams will go to the upper bracket of the playoffs, and the teams that took 4-7 places will advance to the lower bracket.

The first Major tournament of 2021 will take place from March 27 to April 4. 16 participants will fight among themselves and share a total prize pool of $ 500,000 and 2,700 rating points.
