Tundra Esports sweep Talon Esports 2–0 at Esports World Cup 2025 (BO3)
Tundra Esports from Western Europe knocked out Southeast Asia’s Talon Esports with a dominant 2–0 victory in the second elimination round at the Esports World Cup 2025.
Map one was a stomp from the get-go. Tundra outpaced Talon in every lane and never let up. Midlaner bzm stole the show with non-stop rotations and massive damage output, while 33 anchored the offlane with near-perfect execution. The game ended 45–7 in just over 32 minutes as Talon were overwhelmed by Tundra’s aggressive pace.
Map two followed the same script. Crystallis and Saksa played with full confidence, diving deep and punishing every mistake. Despite Mikoto’s best efforts in the midgame, Talon couldn’t slow the bleeding. Whitemon kept vision control tight, and bzm once again led teamfights to a clean 30–15 finish in just 30 minutes.
Tundra now advance to the quarterfinals, where they’ll face BB Team on Thursday, July 17 at 11:00 PM CET. With strong momentum and near-flawless execution, Tundra look like a serious playoff threat. For Talon Esports, the journey ends here after two straight elimination losses.
